Inside Maison De Jardin

HELLO WORLD

Welcome to: More about "Maison De Jardin"

On January 30, 2017, my wife Sandra Lambiotte, launched her own website and blog. The website is called "Where Inspiration Blooms" and her blog is titled "Maison De Jardin" (The Garden House). Over the last several months she was, and is, very active on social media. Each day, she would post photos of uplifting places, art, flowers, and more. Unlike many posts on Face Book and other sites, hers were inspiring, positive and beautiful. Because of her positive message of "How beauty inspires us," she received many encouraging messages from friends and followers near and far - as far as France and Canada.
Although I was a bit critical of her daily posts of flowers, romantic scenes, quotes, beautiful architecture, and encouraging words, she persisted. I often said, "Sandra, don't you think people will get tired of your pretty pictures? However, I kept noticing the support she was receiving - I took notice. I suggested we redesign our website into 50-50 blogs - hers on one side, mine on the other. She gave me a superficial, "Well, let's see." I could see something was bothering her. One day, she said, " What do you think about me having my own website?" After 45 years of marriage (this summer), I knew this was not really a question, rather a statement.
She followed with, "Our writings are so different. You vary from the whimsical with a message, to political, sometimes with a dark reality side and my writing, well, it is about how beauty can lift our lives." She was right. My writing is a bit unpredictable at times and hers is always about the positive. So, we contacted Michael Messenger, our web designer and asked him to develop a site for Sandra and to re-design mine. This all started at the beginning of December.
After weeks of research, trial and error, countless emails back and forth with Michael (Messenger), Sandra was finally ready to launch her own website "Where Inspiration Blooms." http://whereinspirationblooms.
I hope you will follow Sandra and embrace her message "How beauty can lift our lives."  Her writings are down-to-earth, happy, and inspirational. A wonderful departure from all the political ugliness, personal attacks, and and down right insensitive remarks which bombard us daily by way of television, radio, and cyberspace. On her website, there is a place where you can signup to have her blogs sent directly to your by email.

That is: http://whereinspirationblooms.com
